Comments: While best remembered for his classic novella The Little Prince (Le Petit Prince), Saint-Exupery was a aviator and member of the French Air Force. This signed book, originally titled Pilote de Guerre, recounts Saint-Exupery’s experience during the Battle of France in 1940. This work would receive the prestigious Grand Prix Litteraire de L’Aero-Club de France, awarded to notable members of the aviation community.
