Provenance: From the private collection of Frederick B. Adams, Jr., bibliographer of President Roosevelt and director of the Pierpont Morgan Library in New York. His collection was sold by Sotheby’s in 2001.
From Halter: The booklet entitled “Inaugural Address of Franklin D. Roosevelt” in gray wrappers was a special printing of 100 copies delivered to the White House on February 18, 1937, on an order received by the GPO, January 25, 1937. It therefore does not qualify as a first edition.”
