In the publisher’s early state dust jacket, $12.95 retail price on front flap, faint wear at head of the spine, small chip at heel of the spine, a very good example.
This jacket differs from the first state dust jacket, lacking the “stars in the night sky” around the title, which were intentionally removed from the second issue jacket. This copy includes the Walker Percy blurb on the rear panel. (Joanna Hill Archive, LSU)
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1981, which was awarded posthumously to author John Kennedy Toole. Only 2500 copies of first printing were issued.
