Includes a letter from Edward to his publisher at Cassell & Company, Mr. Bryan Gentry, Esq. The letter details payment instructions for future royalties of the book. The letter also acknowledges the untimely death of Sir (Albert) George Allen (1888-1956), who served as the private solicitor for King Edward VIII and helped him navigate the legal implications of his abdication in 1936.

This is the British limited edition of the memoirs of Edward, the Duke of Windsor. They were bound in teal and crimson morocco by Zaehnsdorf, Sangorski & Sutcliffe and John P. Gray. Signed limited editions were produced by Cassell and Company of London, G.P. Putnam’s Sons of New York and Garzanti of Italy, with the smallest limitation belonging to the Italian edition (50 copies).
