Octavo, xiii, [3], 203pp. Red cloth, blue cloth spine, title on spine with illustration on cover stamped in gilt. Stated “first edition” on copyright page. Faint foxing to endpapers, book appears unread. In publisher’s dust jacket, $5.95 on front flap, light shelf wear and faint toning to spine, a near fine copy. Signed on the half-title by Earl Warren.

Earl Warren served as the 30th Governor of California, from 1943-1953. He was nominated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to serve as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in 1953.
