Octavo, 415pp. Full maroon calf, title and decorative embellishments stamped in gilt on the spine and front cover. All edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Gilt dentelles. Front hinge showing light wear, internally clean, solid text block. Illustrated with a frontispiece and 15 plates by Hablot K. Browne, known as “Phiz.”
