Comments: Provenance: book was originally owned by the Earl of Moira (Francis Rawdon-Hastings), who served as Governor General of India from 1813-1823. He was also a member of the British Military during the Revolutionary War, serving in the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Siege of Charleston. He later served as a Major-General during the French Revolutionary Wars.
