Features multiple full-page plates of notable artworks from museums around the world.
Signed by E.V. Lucas, with a full-page inscription on the front flyleaf, dated June 24, 1930.
Edward Verrall Lucas (1868-1938) was a prolific author and notable lifelong contributor to Punch magazine. Lucas wrote a series of “Wanderer” works, each giving the reader a detailed look at the landscapes and cultures of the location. These works include A Wanderer in Holland, A Wanderer in London, A Wanderer in Paris, A Wanderer in Florence, A Wanderer in Venice, A Wanderer among Pictures [museums], and A Wanderer in Rome.
