Octavo, 127pp, [1]. Publisher’s blue cloth, white paper spine label printed in black. Offsetting to endpapers, light foxing along leafends. Solid text block. In the publisher’s light blue dust jacket, $2.00 on the front flap, light soiling to all panels, notable sunning and spotting along the spine, a scarce jacket. The true first edition was published by Faber and Faber in London in 1933. This first American edition is one of 300 copies, utilizing sheets from the 1933 Faber and Faber edition. Title leaf is a cancel, with “Printed in England” on the copyright page.
