In scarce publishers dust jacket, near fine, bright illustrations, closed tear along top edge. A fine first edition copy, published shortly after his victories in Palestine and the Middle East.

Comments: Field Marshal Edmund Allenby, First Viscount Allenby, served in the Boar War and World War I. During the First World War he led the British Expeditionary Forces in expelling the Ottoman Empire from Palestine. He commanded T.E. Lawrence during his campaign and inspired the epic film, Lawrence of Arabia.
