This copy is from the library of George P. Bush, with an inscription from a friend on the half title: “George P., After reading this book, I’ll bet you’ll agree that the title should be ‘American Badass.’ Best, Aaron.” Additionally signed by Chris Kyle on the title page.
George P. Bush is the son of Jeb Bush and grandson of President George H.W. Bush. He is an attorney, former Navy Reserve officer, and Republican politician from Texas. He served as the Texas Land Commissioner from 2015 to 2023. A graduate of Rice University and the University of Texas School of Law, he worked in private law practice before entering politics. Bush served in Afghanistan for 8 months as a Naval Reserve Officer, from 2010-2011. He left the reserve in 2017 with the rank of lieutenant.
