Internally clean. In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $3.00 retail price on front flap, touch of shelf wear, a few short closed tears, a very good example.
Translated from the Norwegian by Eugene Gay-Tifft, August was first published in Norway in 1930 and forms the second volume in Hamsun’s August trilogy, following Wayfarers and preceding The Road Leads On.
