Band of Brothers recounts the wartime history of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. Based largely on interviews with surviving members of the company, it is one of the best-known works of World War II history and the basis for the 2001 HBO miniseries produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.
