Floral bouquet card signed by President-elect John F. Kennedy on November 26th, 1960, the day following the birth of his son, John F. Kennedy Jr. at Georgetown University Hospital.
Card measures 3.5″ x 2.25″, with floral arrangement on verso. Tape residue next to signature, light fold down center line. Housed in rigid archival sleeve, in custom blue cloth folder.
John F. Kennedy Jr. was born on November 25, 1960, at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., just over two weeks after his father, John F. Kennedy, was elected the 35th President of the United States. The baby was born premature via cesarean section, with the president-elect in Palm Beach for meetings.
Kennedy arrived back in Washington four hours after the birth of his son, and visited the hospital numerous times over the 10-day period the family spent in the hospital.
