Octavo, 304pp. Black cloth. Stated “First Edition” on the copyright page. Light rubbing and wear to cloth boards. Front hinge starting, but stable. In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $2.75 retail price on the front flap, chipping along top edge, light sunning to the spine. Designed by Walter Cole.
Inscribed on the half-title: “For Sam Bell / With my regards and all good wishes. John H. Craige / 17 November 1934.”
