The first issue, with no credit to The New York Times on the copyright page and no credit to Jo Mielziner or Lucinda Ballard on page xii. Includes Williams’s “Note of Explanation” and both versions of Act III. In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $3.00 retail price on front flap, wear to boards, short closed tears, dampstain evident on verso, a good example.
