In publishers original dust jacket, very good, with $2.50 price on front flap, stated “Second Large Printing” along top edge of jacket, chips along top edge of spine, hint of toning to spine, otherwise bright illustrations. Previous owners inscription above authors signature. Signed by the author on front free end paper: “With the best wishes of the author many years after. Charles P. Taft. Cincinnati, October 4, 1960.” A scarce signed copy in a rare dust jacket.

Charles P. Taft, the son of former President William H. Taft and Helen Taft, followed in his fathers footsteps and entered politics. This book covers his efforts to reform the city government of Cincinnati, helping to adopt a City Manager form of government.
