Includes the following error found in the first state text: misprint on page 25, line 16, “man-woman” instead of “mad-woman.” In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $24 retail price on the front flap, John Berendt blurb sticker on front, and four reviews on back panel (Gibbons, Bass, Beattie, Morris). A fine example.
Cold Mountain was the winner of the National Book Award and is considered one of the 100 greatest novels of the 20th century.
