In the publisher’s original acetate jacket, a fine example. Includes the publisher’s slipcase, light wear along opening, solid hinges and a sound binding.
This book is a limited edition of 1426 copies signed by Dwight D. Eisenhower. This is number 281 of 1426. Additional inscription by Eisenhower on the half title.
This copy was signed the month of publication to a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps: “For Russell S. Gardner, Jr. / with best wishes and regard. Dwight D. Eisenhower / December, 1948.”
