Quarto, 75pp, [5]. Green cloth over heavy paper boards. Title stamped in silver on the cover and spine. Wear to hinges, but both stable. Text in German. Complete with all 100 individually stereo view photographs, individually numbered, with details about each scene on the verso, and the three-dimensional Raumbild viewer. Includes eight tipped in photographs on textualized plates. Scarce to find complete with all the photographs.
The author of Der Kampf im Westen, General Hasso von Wedel, was head of the propaganda department of the German Army from 1939-1944. The photographs highlight the 1940 Western campaign, mainly the invasions of the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.
