Limited edition of Earth Shine, signed by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Octavo, [two volumes], 56pp. Buckram cloth, title on label affixed to front endpaper. Second volume of the same work is bound in beige buckram, brown morocco spine, title in gilt on spine. Illustrated endpapers. Housed in custom matching slipcase. Both volumes held in brown leather clamshell case. Both volumes are signed by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Colophon page notes that 601 copies were printed, with ten lettered copies for the Lindbergh family and the remaining copies produced for collectors and the Lindbergh foundation. This copy is unnumbered.

Comments: Anne Morrow Lindbergh was an award winning author and pioneering aviator. She was the wife of Charles Lindbergh until his death in 1974. Her work, Gifts from the Sea (1955) was a national best seller. Her first work, North to the Orient recounted her early adventures with Charles Lindbergh. She was a ghost writer on Lindbergh’s Pulitzer prize winning autobiography, The Spirit of St. Louis, published in 1953.
