Solid text block, internally clean. Includes the bookplate of Dr. John F. McHugh and his “Rooseveltiana” collection bookplate. In the publisher’s dust jacket, $2.50 on the front flap, touch of shelf wear and wear to heel of the spine, tape repair at heel of the spine, a very good example. (Edens, I15)

Signed at the Congress Hotel in Chicago, April 12, 1954. This work is accompanied by a full history of the meeting between McHugh and Mrs. Roosevelt in Chicago. The book is also featured in a newspaper article about McHugh’s meeting with Harry Truman and Eleanor Roosevelt in the “The Morning Call,” from Allentown, PA.
