In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $13.95 on jacket flap and a Gene Wolfe quote on rear panel, trace of shelf wear, sunning to the spine, a bright example in very good condition. This copy is signed on the half-title by the author: “To Julia – A child-rearing guide – Orson Scott Card. 19 Feb. 1988.”
This book is considered one of the greatest works of science fiction of the 20th century. It was made into a major motion picture in 2013, directed by Gavin Hood and starring Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield.
