Originally written as contributions to the German Socialist Democrat newspaper in 1893, the articles were rejected and appeared in book form in 1896 in Stuttgart.
Comments: George Plekhanov was a Russian revolutionary and a Marxist theoretician. He was an early adopter of the Marxist philosophy and helped to establish the social-democratic movement in Russia.
