The recipient of this copy, Tony La Russa, is the former manager of the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, and St. Louis Cardinals. He won three World Series championships as a manager, in 1989 with the Athletics and in 2006 and 2011 with the Cardinals. La Russa was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
