Frontispiece portrait with tissue cover. Evidence of exposure to moisture along bottom edge. Dust jacket in fair condition, $1.25 retail price on front flap, loss on spine, detached rear flap, archival repairs at seams. Previously owned by Clara Keck Heflebower, the author of Winged Arrows. Book is signed by the author and first lady Eleanor Roosevelt below frontispiece portrait, dated Jan. 24th, 1934. Card from Mrs. Clara Keck Heflebower notes the inscription was obtained at the National Presidential Celebrity Breakfast. (Edens, B6)
