Octavo, [two volumes], xx, 631pp; viii, 662pp. Red cloth, title in gilt on spines. The first printing, with no additional printings noted. In the publisher’s dust jackets, light soiling to both spines, closed tear through side panel of Volume II, both very good examples.
Scarce to find this set in the original jackets.
This set originally sold for $10.00 for the two-volume set.
Lowell’s extensive biography of Keats drew on her own important Keats collection and other manuscript material. It was published the same year her Keats collection was given to Harvard.
