Octavo, two volumes, [xvi], 400pp; [xii], 436pp. Publisher’s tan buckram, printed label on spines and covers. Top edges gilt. Clean throughout, uncut. Faint blemish to title label on Volume I along the spine. Includes the “Author’s Autograph Edition” slipcase, notable soiling to side panels, some loss of gilt foil along boards, separation of boards along top panel. Both volumes in the “Author’s Autograph Edition” dust jackets, soiling to both spines, chipping at head of the spines, both very good examples.
