Bob Feller (1918-2010) was a Hall of Fame pitcher for the Cleveland Indians, playing with the team from 1936-1956, with an interruption to serve in the Navy during World War II. He was an eight-time All-Star and helped the Indians win the World Series in 1948. During his career, he pitched three no-hitters and was the MLB strikeout leader for 7 seasons. He was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962 and remembered as “the greatest pitcher of his time.” The recipient of this copy, Tony La Russa, is the former manager of the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, and St. Louis Cardinals. He won three World Series championships as a manager, in 1989 with the Athletics and in 2006 and 2011 with the Cardinals. La Russa was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
