Comments: Originally translated into French by Jacques Barbeu de Bourg, a friend of Franklin’s. This edition is the first French edition, which combines the fourth British edition with additional entries. Broken into two volumes, the first volume deals mostly with electricity and the second volume contains various topics of interest to Franklin.
