Sixteenmo. Tan boards with mounted artwork on front and rear cover. Size: 4-7/8 by 3 1/2 inches. Illustrated end papers, with 13 color plates, 12 of which accompany each calendar month. Slight foxing on front cover. Original glassine jacket in fair condition, which is rare to fine.
Comments: This almanac was intended to be part of a series, but Potter was unhappy with the finished product. She found it difficult to find material for each calendar month and ultimately abandoned the project. Contains the most popular illustration of Peter Rabbit on the front cover. An attractive addition to any collection.
