Octavo, [x], 324pp. Three-quarter morocco, green cloth covers. Five raised bands, title in gilt on spine. Marbled endpapers. Stated “Sixth Printing, March, 1924” on copyright page. Previous ownership bookplate to front flyleaf, the recipient of the inscription. Solid text block, light wear to edges, near fine example.
Inscribed on the front flyleaf: “For Agnes and Herbert Meyer, With whom Picture Frames is very happy to make its home. With the best wishes of Thyra Samter Winslow / August twenty eight, 1930.”
Picture Frames, originally published in 1923, was Thyra Samter Winslow’s first collection of short stories.
