Octavo, xxiii, 266pp, [10]. Blue cloth, black cloth spine, title in gold on spine. Stated “inaugural edition” on copyright page, following the first printing from 1956. Light wear to tips of the spine. Yellow endpapers, solid text block. In the publisher’s dust jacket, $3.95 on the front flap, light rubbing to margins of the spine, some shelf wear, a very good example.
Inscribed on the front free endpaper: “_ / from John F. Kennedy / 1961.” Additionally signed by Jacqueline Kennedy (1965), John F. Kennedy Jr., and Caroline Kennedy.
