Rage is a psychological thriller that tells the story of a deranged student who commits a school shooting in Maine. As real-life school shooting incidents grew throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Stephen King decided to let the novel fall out of print.
This is the first book published by Stephen King under the pen name “Richard Bachman.” The other titles include: The Long Walk (1979), Roadwork (1981), The Running Man (1982), Thinner (1984), The Regulators (1996), Blaze (2007), and a collection titled The Bachman Books (1985).
