The Royal octavo edition of Select Views of Greece with Classical Illustrations by H.W. Williams, published in 1829.
Tall [Royal] octavo, measures 7.5″ x 11″, [two volumes]. Three-quarter red morocco, marbled paper-covered boards. Five raised bands, decorative gilt compartments, title in gilt on spines. All edges gilt with marbled endpapers. Solid text blocks, wear to covers, small points of peeling to leather corners. Front free endpaper previously torn out of Volume I. Faint soiling to leaves, a near fine set. Complete with 64 full-page plates. Plates created from original drawings by Hugh Williams.

Selected Views of Greece was originally issued in parts from 1827 to 1829. It was then published in multiple formats simultaneously, including a folio edition, a large-paper edition, and this Royal octavo edition.
