From a limited edition of 300 copies in quarter leather, this being number 6, signed by John Graves on the half title.
This essay, adapted from Graves’s text for Of Birds and Texas, combines memoirs, bird hunting, Texas landscape, and recollections of figures from the author’s early life.
The volume won the Carl Hertzog Award for Excellence in Book Design.
