Quarto, [two volumes], xvii, [1], 458pp, [4]; iii, [3], [459]-997pp, [6]. Publisher’s maroon morocco, title stamped in gilt on the spine, decorative raised bands with six compartments. Bufflehead duck on front cover in black and white morocco overlay. Illustrated endpapers. Top edge gilt, uncut foredge. Light wear to spines, some rubbing to tips, a few scratches on Volume II. Front hinge of Volume I starting, but stable. Internally clean, solid text block.

This work is complete with frontispiece in both volumes, 14 tipped-in gelatin prints, 16 color plates, and 14 photogravure plates. Plates are all in fine condition, many with captioned tissue covers.
A total of 1250 editions of this work were produced, including 85 copies of the “Patrons” De Luxe Edition and 22 examples of the Victoria and Vancouver Edition. This is copy number 10 of the Vancouver Edition. This copy was signed on the limitation page by William Dawson.
