The limited edition of The Book of the Dead, edited and translated by Raymond O. Faulkner from papyri in the British Museum.
Quarto, [two volumes], xvi, 157pp, [3]; [plates]. Bound in black cloth with red Eye of Horus and border decorations. Housed in the publisher’s slipcase with ribbon. The plate volume is bound in red cloth with matching black decorations. It contains a continuous full-color folding reproduction of the papyri with an accompanying explanatory leaf.
One of 1500 numbered copies, this being number 85. Issued unsigned.
