The Camp of the Saints was first published in France in 1973 as Le Camp des Saints and first appeared in English with this Scribner edition. The novel remains Raspail’s best-known and most controversial work, widely discussed for its dystopian treatment of mass migration and criticized for racist and xenophobic themes.
