Octavo, 167pp, [9]. Green cloth, title in gilt on spine. Stated “First published in mcml” on copyright page, no additional printings listed. The first issue, with the misprint of “here” on Page 29, line 1, later corrected to “her”. Solid text block, thin crease along spine, light wear to corners, near fine. Previous ownership inscription on front free endpaper. In the publisher’s dust jacket, “10s 6d net” retail price on front flap, sunned spine. A few short closed tears along edges, reinforced with tape on verso. A very good example. (Gallup A55)
