Octavo, [three volumes], xvi, 444pp; [4], 383pp, [1]; [4], 423pp, [1]. Lacking half-title in Volume I. Pages 65 to 80 of Volume III repeat. Three-quarter calf, marbled paper-covered boards. Five raised bands, title in gilt on red morocco label affixed to spine. Yellow edges, marbled endpapers. Small points of expert restoration to spines. Solid text blocks, light wear to corners, faint foxing to endpapers and maps. Complete with two maps and five fold-out plates, all in Volume I.
