Twelvemo, 202pp. Full sheep, title stamped in gilt on the spine, over black morocco label. Light foxing to endpapers, scattered toning throughout. Small chip at head of the spine, solid text block. The work is divided into four sections: on workmen, shopkeepers, merchants and master-manufacturers, and professional men.
