Octavo, [2 volumes], xvi, 320pp; [4], 321-633pp. Patterned boards with blue leather spines, title stamped in gilt on spines. Top edge gilt. Clean text, no marks or notations. Touch of wear to spine ends of Volume I. Housed in the publisher’s original cardboard slipcase, title printed on label attached to spine, some shelf wear, chipping to corners, seam along bottom edge of spine is separating but case is stable. From a limited edition of 1500 copies, this being number 1265. Signed on the limitation page in Volume II by the designer, Bruce Rogers. Paperwork from the Limited Editions Club is laid-in. An attractive set.
