Octavo, 288pp. Dark blue cloth, gilt title on spine, gilt title and family crest on cover. Light shelf wear to bottom of spine. Includes original tissue wrapper. (Newcomb, 240) Inscribed by Dave Powers: “To Maury Bromsen, Merry Christmas 1984 and best wishes always. Dave Powers.” Identical inscription on rear endpaper, possibly a mistake. Includes letter from Mr. Powers on Kennedy Library stationary.
Comments: Dave Powers served as special assistant to President John F. Kennedy. After the loss of President Kennedy, Mr. Powers served as the Museum Curator of the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum. This book is inscribed to Maury A. Bromsen, a longtime bibliophile.
