One of 350 numbered copies signed by García Márquez on the limitation page, this being number 146.
An exceptional, unread example.
First published in Spanish in 1989 as El General en Su Laberinto, the novel follows Simón Bolívar during the final months of his life down the Magdalena River toward exile. The author, Gabriel García Márquez, was the recipient of the 1982 Nobel Peace Prize in Literature.
