Each volume with a frontispiece portrait and photographic plates. In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, retail price on the front flap, a few tape repairs to versos, faint soiling to spines, a few chips along the heel of Volume I, bright illustrations, all very good examples. Blindstamp of the recipient in two volumes.
Each volume is signed by President Hoover, with Volume III bearing the inscription: “The good wishes of Herbert Hoover.”
