Multiple photographic illustrations, clean text. Housed in custom black leather clamshell case, title in gilt over green morocco on spine, felt lined tray. Inscribed by President Warren G. Harding on free endpaper: “Warren G. Harding. Mar 21/22.” An incredibly scarce signed book.
Comments: Books signed by President Warren G. Harding are incredibly scarce since he died in office and never wrote an autobiography. During its time, the presidency of Warren Harding was widely considered successful. His untimely death was mourned by the nation and he received national accolades for his service. After his death, corruption within his administration surfaced and forever tarnished his reputation.
