In the publisher’s first British dust jacket, “7s. 6d. net” retail price on the front flap, separation along front spine, small tissue repair to verso, chipping at head of the spine, a good example. This book was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1953 and is considered one of the most important novels of the 20th century.
