John Jay Osborn Jr. (b. 1945) is a lawyer and author, known for this, his first novel. The 1973 film adaptation of The Paper Chase won John Houseman an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Professor Charles W. Kingsfield, Jr.
