Anne Rice (1941-2021) was a famous fiction writer. Queen of the Damned is the third novel in Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles series, preceded by Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat. AMC began production of a Vampire Chronicles series TV show in 2022, with a Queen of the Damned adaptation expected for release in 2027.
